A gifted surgeon with a deep commitment to her community and her patients, Dr. Joseph brings a fresh perspective, advanced robotic surgery training, and a genuine passion for delivering the highest level of surgical care using the latest technology available.
For Dr. Joseph, surgery has always been about more than the operating room. Originally from the St. Louis, Missouri area, she built her career on a foundation of community service, patient education, and hands-on care — values that align perfectly with the mission of Lifetime Surgical.
Before she ever picked up a scalpel, Dr. Joseph was already making an impact. As a volunteer with DOCARE International, she traveled to Bonyo, Kenya for a three-week medical mission, where she performed clinical evaluations, diagnosed tropical diseases, administered treatments, and taught Basic Life Support to local healthcare workers. She has volunteered with the American Cancer Society, the Ronald McDonald House, and organized community health screenings at Kansas City elementary schools — bringing preventive health education to underserved urban youth.
Her approach to medicine is simple: show up, serve, and give every patient the care you'd want for your own family. That philosophy carries into every consultation and every procedure she performs at Lifetime Surgical.
Dr. Joseph completed her general surgery residency at McLaren Macomb Hospital, where she gained extensive experience across the full spectrum of general and vascular surgical procedures — including endovascular surgery and advanced robotic surgery using the da Vinci Surgical System.

Dr. Joseph brings a deeply personal commitment to breast surgery and breast cancer care. Her mother was a patient at the renowned Siteman Cancer Center in St. Louis — an experience that shaped Dr. Joseph's understanding of what patients and families go through when facing a cancer diagnosis.
That personal connection drove her to dedicate over 100 hours of volunteer work with Zeta Tau Alpha's breast cancer education and awareness program, where she helped educate communities on current breast cancer screening guidelines and treatment options. She co-sponsored major awareness events with MLB, NFL, and NHL teams and participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
Her clinical work reflects this passion. Dr. Joseph has presented on regional breast care and papillary breast lesions and participated in tumor board presentations at Karmanos Cancer Center, one of the nation's leading cancer research institutions. She is committed to bringing compassionate, expert-level breast surgical care to the women of San Jose and the South Bay.

When she's not in the OR, Dr. Joseph brings the same passion and creativity to her personal life. She's an avid painter with a love for Greek art history and archaeology, stays active with Peloton and yoga, and is a talented confectionery baker and violinist. She also happens to be a certified lifeguard and aquatics safety instructor — because of course she is.
